I currently live and work in Jacksonville, FL. I officiate weddings in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Amelia Island, and throughout northeast Florida.
I have been officiating weddings since 2014 and absolutely adore each couple that allows me to be a part of their special day.
What Services are Included in Officiating Packages?
Each officiating package includes a one-hour planning meeting. In this meeting, I help my clients think through what they desire their ceremony to be and feel like. I also give them tips on the ceremony logistics (since I was a wedding coordinator back in the day).
I also offer officiating ceremony rehearsals. The rehearsals are typically the day before the wedding, and we walk through any movements made during the wedding. For example, we practice the ‘hand off’ if someone walks the bride down the aisle. We discuss and practice when the couple will speak and practice some of what they will say during their ceremony. I also make sure the person in charge of carrying the rings in the ceremony (often the best man) knows that it is his job.
Lastly, and most importantly, I officiate the wedding ceremony on your wedding day. Each ceremony is specialized to the couple’s preferences. I believe a wedding ceremony is an extremely sacred and beautiful occasion. We do laugh during the ceremony, but also share special moments. I choose meaningful words that will mark the couple’s beginning of their happily ever after together.
