About Megan
My Story
I’ve had a heart for helping people as long as I can remember. Even as a young child, I remember feeling deep empathy when other kids on the playground were sad. I wanted nothing more than to come alongside and help them.
In middle and high school, people would come to me with their personal struggles and I loved being able to listen and help. Growing up, I dreamed of running a business or being a teacher or guidance counselor, and today, I am thankful to do the best parts of all three of those careers today as a relationship coach, wedding officiant, and speaker.
In college, I double majored in Religion and General Psychology because I believed in being a holistic care provider. I wanted to serve a person’s emotional, spiritual, psychological, and physical needs, and to me, that meant focusing on the ways I could best understand people and speak to the human experience.
While in college I taught, ministered, volunteered, mentored, as well as served as a hospital chaplain. I loved it all, but felt I needed more preparation and schooling to best guide and serve others.
In order to be my best self, I chose to attend graduate school at Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology. While earning my masters, I worked as a pastoral associate at a church in Atlanta, served as chaplain at an outreach & advocacy center, and continued to mentor female college students. This is also the time I created a specialized curriculum for couples under the leadership of a PhD professor. I use this curriculum in my work with couples, today and continue to grow my skills to better serve my clients.
From the very first couple to now, I am still just as honored to serve and walk alongside you as I was when I began this business in 2014. Honestly, I think I feel more honored and more excited to work with clients with every passing year. I look forward to getting to know you and your story as we work together to accomplish your dreams, whatever they may be!
